May 5, 2018 – Spring Book Sale
We collect donated books all year round to offer them to you at fabulously low prices! Most hardback books sell for $1.00, trade paperbacks for $.50 and regular paperbacks for $.25. We also have a great selection of special priced books – lots on history and the Civil War. Stock up for those summer vacations! The sale is held from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Glen Burnie Improvement Association Building at 19 Crain Highway S. in Glen Burnie. More sale books in the basement of the Kuethe Library next door.
May 12, 2018 – Spring Flea Market/Craft Fair

August 5, 2018 – Annual Day Lily Extravaganza
The Free State Day Lily Society will once again be at the Benson-Hammond House to show off and sell a wide array of their beautiful bulbs. If you’re only familiar with Tiger Lillies this show will definitely open your eyes to a world of color and styles.
September 15, 2018 – Fall Flea Market and Craft Fair
Here’s another opportunity to pick up those one-of-a-kind items for you and your friends. The Benson-Hammond House grounds will be full of vendors offering crafts, antiques and everything else under the sun at great prices. The sale begins at 8am so show up early to snag the best deals. The vendor application will be posted closer to the date.
October 6, 2018 – Fall Book Sale
We’ll have literally thousands of books on sale at prices so low we’re almost giving them away. Most hardback books are $1.00, trade paperbacks are $.50 and regular paperbacks are $.25. As always we’ll have a wide selection of vintage and special price books to tempt the collectors. The sale stats at 9:00 am at the Glen Burnie Improvement Association Building, 19 Crain Hwy S in Glen Burnie and next door in the basement of the Kuethe Library.
